Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Samantha (Sam) is a senior human resources (HR) business partner at CSC responsible for advising and partnering with employees and leaders. This includes employee experience, general advisory items for hiring, learning and development, performance management, and the Total Rewards Program. She has been with the company for over four years, and enjoys working in HR because of the incredible people, the culture, the long-standing history, our forward-thinking agility, and continual new challenges to tackle.

Before joining CSC, Sam worked in HR for a tech start-up and financial services company. She is originally from Massachusetts and has a B.A. in psychology from Boston University. Sam currently lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.

Head of CSC U.S. Fund Services

Anne is the Head of CSC’s U.S. Fund Services.  Anne has been active in the private equity industry since 1993 and maintains her long-standing passion for bringing best in class investor reporting experience along with business process improvements to the private capital industry. From the time she started as a general partner, she adopted the mindset of “isn’t there a better way” for her firm and the investors they serve. That thinking was a driving force behind her founding PEF Services in 2002 and maintaining her position of President and CEO of the firm until its sale to CSC in May of 2021. PEF Services, a CSC company, continues to break new ground in meeting the industry’s biggest challenges for private capital funds of every type, size, and structure supported by an amazing team of people and innovative, purpose-built technologies.

Anne is a frequent speaker for industry organizations and actively participates on task forces for key industry organizations such as NCREIF/ PREA and the CFA Institute. She has received business awards recognizing her as a leading business executive and entrepreneur and she is active with local university entrepreneurial programs.

Anne, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.

Jason Bodin

Jason has over 14 years of experience as a Controller.  Prior to joining PEF Services in 2013, Jason served as the Vice President of Finance for Nelligan Sports Marketing, a collegiate sports marketing company that was acquired by Learfield Sports in February of 2014.

Jason started his career in the audit department of Coopers and Lybrand LLC and continued with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC) once the firms merged.   From PWC, he went to the internal audit department of CBS where he was responsible for audits of owned and operated radio and television stations.

Jason is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University.

As a Managing Director of Fund Accounting, Emily leads a client services team with a focus on accounting and reporting services for PEF’s clients and their investors. Emily and her team are also responsible for managing PEF’s fund accounting technology platform, Investran. Emily joined PEF Services in 2015 as a Manager of Fund Accounting.

Emily has more than 15 years of experience in alternative asset fund administration. Prior to joining PEF, she worked as a Vice President at Citi Hedge Fund Services, where she played an instrumental role in the administration of several hedge funds by overseeing a team of accountants and the accounting process. Prior to Citi, Emily worked as a Fund Accountant at Derivatives Portfolio Management (DPM Mellon, LLC), where she developed her accounting and fund administration expertise.

Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from Rutgers University.

Chalene is the Director of Operations and Compliance for US Fund Services. Chalene oversees CSC’s US Fund Services Investor Services, Compliance and General Operations, including Client Onboarding. Chalene joined CSC Global Financial Markets in 2020 and brings with her over 15 years of deep industry knowledge and experience in the Alternative Investment space; with proven ability to drive results, regulatory compliance management and large-scale implementations.

Prior to joining CSC, Chalene worked for FD Fund Administration serving as the Director of Investor Services and Client Onboarding. She started her career in Alternatives at BNY Mellon in the role of Vice President and Manager within Investor Services. It was there she placed a keen focus on leadership within the fund administration arena. While with BNY Mellon Chalene managed an array of investment products including but not limited to Hedge, Registered, Real Estate and Private Equity Funds totaling over 23 billion in assets under management.

Chalene continued developing her expertise in Operations, as a member of the management team for Citco Fund Services focusing primarily on Private Equity & Real Estate funds. There she oversaw all investor due diligence, onboarding, and service management activities.

Chalene received her Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from Temple University.

As Senior Vice President, Laura leads PEF’s U.S. Fund Administration sales, marketing and public relations efforts to drive its revenue stream, identify new opportunities for corporate growth and to set the strategic direction for brand management in the fund administration sector. Laura joined PEF in January 2017, and has more than 25 years of experience leading integrated marketing, lead-generation, digital marketing, and public relations efforts that have repeatedly increased demand and generated revenue.

Prior to joining PEF Services, Laura held a variety of business and marketing executive roles for Freestyle Solutions (formerly Dydacomp), CyberShift (now SumTotal), and interBiz, a division of Computer Associates that provided eBusiness applications for financial, human capital management, banking, and supply chain management.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Mathematics from St. Thomas Aquinas College.

As a Solutions Consultant Executive, Delphine drives PEF business development efforts, leveraging her expertise and experience in all aspects of fund administration for Private Equity funds and SBIC funds with complex structures. Delphine brings more than 25 years of investment fund experience (more than ten concentrating on alternative investments) to the PEF Services leadership team. In her previous role as a Managing Director of Client Services, Delphine led a PEF Client Services team responsible for the relationships and services provided to PEF clients.

Prior to joining PEF Services in 2014, Delphine was the CFO of the Prudential Capital Group, overseeing the accounting, reporting, and financial forecasting of the business unit and the accounting and administration of its private mezzanine debt funds. A Certified Public Accountant, she began her career at PwC. She was a senior audit manager and provided accounting and auditing services to companies in the investment company industry.

Delphine earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management.

As Managing Director of Client Services, Gus works with our Directors of Client Services to provide high quality, high touch services to clients and their investors. Gus works with his team to understand each client’s needs and provide solutions that help them scale their business, reduce operational risk and focus on what they do best: generate value for their investors.

Gus has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.  He has held director, vice president, and business development positions at various fund administrators and has also provided consulting services to startup firms.

Gus earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

David manages a client relationship team responsible for fund accounting operations and oversees investor services and the fund administration services provided to clients including: fund accounting, financial statements, capital calls and distributions, SBIC compliance, as well as working on day-to-day client operations. David brings more than 20 years of financial services industry experience to his clients including Private Equity/Venture Capital partnership accounting.

Prior to joining PEF in 2017, David worked at SS&C as a Vice President of Citigroup Private Equity Services, at Wexford Capital LP as a Vice President of Private Equity Financial Operations, and at RHO Capital Partners Inc. as Controller.

David is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College.

Jolanta Pastula

As the Director – Investor Services, Jolanta manages PEF’s Investor Services team responsible for investor communications, including the management and administration of PEF’s ViewPoint portal, along with the firm’s AML/KYC services that span investor identification, diligence, verification, and monitoring. Jolanta joined the PEF team in 2012 as an Investor Services (IS) Specialist, building the IS division. In 2014, Jolanta was promoted to Investor Services Manager.

Prior to joining PEF Services, Jolanta worked for 11 years as Investor Services Manager for the Alternative Investment Services group at State Street Bank & Trust.

Jolanta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College.

Caryn Siminoff, CPA

Caryn manages a client relationship team responsible for fund accounting operations and oversees investor services and the fund administration services provided to clients including: fund accounting, financial statements, capital calls and distributions, SBIC compliance, as well as working on day-to-day client operations. Caryn brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, providing audit, tax, and fund administration services to a wide variety of clients with diverse investment strategies and structures.

Prior to joining PEF in 2014, worked at Citi Hedge Fund Services, North America (formerly Bisys- RK Alternative Investment Services and Rothstein Kass/RK Consulting) as a Vice President. At Citi, Caryn oversaw NAV reporting, investor allocations and financial statement production for numerous hedge fund, fund of funds, and hybrid structures. She began her career at Merrill Lynch, where she focused on mutual fund accounting and administration.

Caryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Christine manages a client relationship team responsible for fund accounting operations and oversees investor services and the fund administration services provided to clients including: fund accounting, financial statements, capital calls and distributions, SBIC compliance as well as working on day-to-day client operations. Christine brings more than 15 years of financial services industry experience to her clients.

Prior to joining PEF in 2016, Christine worked at SS&C and Citi Hedge Fund Services and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in fund administration for private equity funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, and hybrid funds.

Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers where she majored in Economics with a concentration in Finance and International Economics.

Yanyan Zhu

As PEF’s Director of Fund Accounting, Yanyan manages and oversees a team responsible for the preparation of the books and records as well as supporting schedules and reconciliations for all of PEF’s clients. Yanyan brings more than 17 years of accounting and alternative investments experience to the PEF Services management team.

Prior to joining PEF Services in 2016, Yanyan worked as an Assistant Vice President at SS&C – Citi Hedge Fund Services, as a Staff Accountant at Siemens Financial Services, and as a Fund Accountant at State Street.

Yanyan earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology.
