Accomplished fund administration executives recognized for leadership within and beyond the workplace
WEST ORANGE, NJ (November 14, 2017)—PEF Services, a leading fund administrator for Alternative Investment Managers, today announced that Anne Anquillare, Chief Executive Officer and President has been named by New York SmartCEO as a 2017 Top CEO Brava Award winner. Beth Manzi, Chief Operating Officer, has been named by New York SmartCEO as a 2017 Brava Executive Award winner.
The Brava Awards celebrate the distinguished achievements of 40 of the Greater New York area’s top female business leaders. This year’s class collectively generates nearly $1.1 billion in annual revenue and employs more than 1,600 individuals.
Anne Anquillare founded PEF Services in 2002, at a time when most funds managed their own fund administration with internal staff or part-time controllers. Prior to starting the company, she was a partner at a small private equity firm, responsible for the administrative side of the fund along with investment responsibilities. Anquillare experienced firsthand the struggles inherent in building and maintaining the back office of a fund. She realized fund administration required not only well trained people but very robust targeted technology.
“At the time PEF Services was started, I knew that I had the drive and vision to build a company that could provide fund administration services more efficiently and effectively, especially having been in the same position as my clients. PEF’s success can be attributed to the business need for our services and the trusted relationships we have developed with the fund managers we serve,” said Anne Anquillare, CEO and President, PEF Services LLC. “I am honored to be recognized as a 2017 Brava winner.”
Beth Manzi’s operations team enables PEF’s corporate vision to be achieved through process improvements, and the underlying accounting and technology infrastructure. By investing in new technologies and processes that support client requests and/or industry trends, PEF is able to maintain and expand its competitive advantage. The success of the operations department directly contributes to the growth of PEF and is exemplified by the quality and know-how of the operations team members and their managers.
“As PEF’s operations executive, my contributions focus on building a great team and streamlining processes and procedures so that we can ensure that all clients receive superior fund administration services. We know we have succeeded when clients refer their colleagues to us and praise our services. We cannot do this without a great team behind us,” said Beth Manzi, Chief Operating Officer, PEF Services LLC. “It is an honor to be recognized as a 2017 Brava winner.”
“Beth has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. In Beth, I found leadership qualities, business acumen, drive, and commitment to the business, along with compassion and loyalty toward her people and our clients,” said Anquillare. “I believe Beth exemplifies the characteristics of a Brava leader every day in her contributions to the growth of PEF through her skills, dedication, loyalty and mentorship. I am delighted to see her recognized for her accomplishments.”
