The rules of engagement have changed, and investor communications has emerged as a key competitive advantage, and GPs are seeking new ways to deliver a best-in-class investor experience.

Visibility is more important than ever, with investors seeking more opportunities to connect with and hear from GPs.

At a time when in-person meetings are not an option, regularly scheduled video conferences and “ask-me-anything” events provide updates on fund performance, fees and expenses, and liquidity needs and enable LPs to pose questions to senior executives.

Responsiveness is equally critical. GPs need to be proactive about sharing updates. Respond to LP queries promptly. And accelerate activities such as distribution processing, closing the books, finalizing valuations, and issuing financial and capital statements.
